"Too Different" 8x10 Print

Too Different is about feeling so completely different than others growing up that it leads to bullying and basically detachment from community. The setting is on a vacant playground (such as the one I grew up with in public school) because during recess, I was usually by myself, on the swings, or sitting in the grass. Plenty of "our friend has a crush on you" and as soon as I believed it they would say "oh, you seriously thought someone could have a crush on you??" and laugh. I say this not for you to think of me as a victim of any kind, but instead to maybe resonate with those that have been through it too. Much love to those who have. And those who haven't but are kind anyway.
